| | | Will you be Spring Cleaning this year. | | Here are some tips from www.cleantips.netFloors. For a great way to clean your home's linoleum or tile floors, mix together about 15 drops of orange essential oil, 8 drops of essential lemon oil, 2 tablespoons of liquid soap and a gallon of hot water. The resulting mixture will work almost as well as any commercially available floor cleaner and make your room citrusy fresh.
Carpets. Using rosewood essential oil (about 25 drops), eucalyptus essential oil (about 35 drops), and lavender essential oils (roughly 30 drops) mixed with 4 cups of baking soda or cornstarch will create a fantastic homemade carpet freshener. Simply sprinkle it on your carpet fifteen minutes prior to vacuuming and you will have some fantastically fresh carpets.
Countertops. Tee Tree oil (or Tea Tree oil) and lavender essential oils have proven anti-bacterial properties that you can use to help disinfect and clean countertops around the home or office. Simply put around five drops of oil into a spray bottle and spray onto the countertops that you want to clean, and wipe it off. For larger jobs, like cleaning an entire room, put around 50 drops of oil into a bucket and...

| | What kind of guitar should I buy? | | What kind of guitar should I buy? Okay. Do you prefer quiet, peaceful, beautiful acoustic guitar music or loud, raunchy, rowdy, roof raising, electric guitar? I
myself prefer the latter. There's a tip for the guys right there. Get a nice acoustic guitar and the ladies will swoon in
appreciation (or so they lead me to believe). Back to the subject at hand. There are so many, repeat, so many guitars out there to purchase that it's nearly impossible for
somebody other than you to pick one out and say, "This guitar is for you." All anybody or I can do is point you in the right
direction. I can give some advice and pointers but actually recommending that you purchase a Gibson, Fender, Ibanez,
Peavey, or any make or model is beyond the realm of realism. Guitar Bodies.
Guitar bodies can be made from various woods, which include but are not limited to koa, ash, mahogany, poplar, and alder.
Each type of wood gives a certain tone or sound that may be bright and punchy or warm. Some woods weigh more than
others causing the guitar...
| | "Black Snake Moan" - The Movie | | Did anyone see the movie Black Snake Moan???? I loved it ... This movie dealt with issues that one would have never been touched a 30/20/even 10 years ago ... to have a black man chain a white woman in his house could have got him hung or started a chain reaction of murders and killings back in the day ... i mean they tortured and beat a young man for whistling at a white woman as little as 20 years ago .... they almost killed all the black people in a small town called Rosewood because some said a Black man violated a white woman ... and it was a lie .... Amazing movie ... I love this movie ... how people no matter their colour come together and help each other and grow .. maybe we as a society will then in turn eventually grow ... | |
| | I finally got my new "first" guitar!!! | | Well, as most of you who here who read my other discussions or have been to my blog, you would know that I really wanted a new guitar as the old one which wasn't even mine was really tattered and just near-death. But I've still been trying to learn songs on it, and have gotten far in terms of learning the basic chords and a song or two.
So yesterday, me and my sisters went out, one of my sisters wanted to get a camera, and so went camera shopping. I had no idea that I would be coming home with my first ever guitar. Well, while looking at different cameras, we ended up at the mall, where there is a shop called plug-ins which has only a very few Yamaha acoustics. I had wanted to get one for a long time, but since I'm out of a job, I just couldn't save enough for it.
Then out of the blue, my sister said that since we're here, why don't we just get it? And she did get it for me, as an early birthday present.
Oh, god I love her so much now, not just because she bought me something I had wanted for a long time, but because she cared enough to understand that I really am passionate about...
